So I've ran into something that I belive to be a bug. I've been trying to join the Black Ring through any means possible, speaking to the Sallow Man through the Black Mirror, saying that I'm Almiras' thrall etc. The problem is, is that when I get to the Sallow Man in his cave (I've got Lohse in my party and have tried dismissing her before the "negotiations", but to no avail.) he still attacks ...Oct 18, 2017 · How To Get The Swornbreakers. To forge the Swornbreaker, you need three pieces, the tablet found in Ancient Temple (or recipe given by Ryker, or Almira), the shaft in Sallow Man’s war room, the blade in Academy Arena. Yep. You can rush straight to the academy the moment you go on the island; in the east, on the volcanic islands/pillars there's a mound of ash/dirt that you can dig for a backdoor entrance to the academy.

Look to the right "beneath" the Lunar Gate ruins (southwards on the map), there's a troll guarding a cave entreance with a Black Ring banner right next to it. The problem is more when you get inside, there's an altar that demands blood.
